Master – Milestones in loudspeaker design

Master Line Source

After extensive studies, calculations, trials and a few sleepless nights we were able to create the world's first single dipole system that combines the uniqueness of the coaxial ribbon system and the essential elements of slim-line column loudspeakers. A passion for innovations and maximum technological performance led to the coaxial ribbon system that emitted not only the high frequency range, but also the entire mid-high range on the X-, Y - and Z- axis from the same point.

Master Line Source

The ideal of the perfect loudspeaker.

PIEGA Head Developer Kurt Scheuch has always been fascinated by innovation and technological high-performance. His conviction that the perfect speaker must represent an infinitely small point sound source, led to the coaxial ribbon system that radiated not only the tweeter range, but also the entire mid-high range on the X-, Y - and Z- axis from the same point.

Master Line Source 2

A dipole speaker configured for the living room.

The Master Line Source 2 is a smaller version of the Master Line Source that can also be integrated in standard living rooms. It is the result of a close cooperative alliance between the PIEGA Head Developer Kurt Scheuch and the designer Stephan Hürlemann. Like its epic prototype, the MLS 2 also operates on the symmetrical line source principle. Four mid-range speakers and tweeters, mounted one above the other, emit sound in a vertical, cylindrical configuration, resulting in an exceedingly clear and detailed sound pattern.
